San Martino di Castrozza, Passo Rolle, Primiero and Vanoi will light up your winter holiday at the Edelweiss Residence – Tailor made holiday in Trentino as the rays of the sun make the most precious crystals sparkle. The slopes are perfect for snowboarding and skiing, both downhill and cross-country, and exciting itineraries in snowshoes in the pristine territory of the Paneveggio – Pale di San Martino Natural Park, as well as naturalistic visits to the Ecomuseum of Vanoi and trips in a troika, the magic horse-drawn wooden sleigh through the fairy woods of San Martino and Val Canali.

Ski lovers can have fun on more than 60 kilometers of slopes, at altitudes between 1,404 and 2,357 meters, always in perfect condition thanks to the possibility of artificial programmed snow making.

For the more adventurous spirits there are 45 kilometers of the Carosello delle malghe, while for those who wish to take advantage of their holiday to learn a new sport, the Edelweiss Residence recommends the Prà delle Nasse ski area and the Kinderland Tognola, ideal for families and children! Cross-country skiers can take advantage of the numerous trails through the woods of San Martino, Val Canali, Passo Cereda and Lago di Calaita.

After skiing, you can venture into the Rosetta plateau in the Pale, to enjoy exciting excursions, surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery.

In the months of JULY and AUGUST, the Edelweiss Residence in San Marino di Castrozza organizes three walks and naturalistic excursions weekly, accompanied by the Alpine Guide Group. The program will be explained directly by the mountain guide who follows you, during the welcome cocktail, every Sunday afternoon.

The excursions are of varying difficulty, and they venture into the pristine nature of the Pale di San Martino Nature Park or into the wonderful scenery of the Eastern Dolomites: Calaita – Cima Folga, Cima Vezzena, Passo Cereda, Passo Valles, Lago and Cima Juribrutto, the Plateau of the Pale and Cima Fradusta. A refreshing break, discovering the most authentic flavors of the area, in the “malghe” mountain lodges and in the “rifugi” mountain huts: Rifugio al Velo, Rifugio Pradidali and Rifugio Cima Mulaz.
It is all a succession of opportunities to discover nature, accompanied by expert guides or instructors, such as trekking outings along the route of the Thinking Christ.

A summer in San Martino is also music, thanks to the international event “I Suoni delle Dolomiti” the Sounds of the Dolomites: internationally renowned artists who are hosted in San Martino di Castrozza and in Primiero, for a holiday in the most beautiful mountains together with the most beautiful music!
